As part of Edgefield Primary School’s rebranding initiative, we conceptualised, designed and produced a series of life-sized standees and character masks that would reflect the school’s renewed identity and values. Central to this project were five original, multi-racial and diverse characters representing one of the school’s core values, helping to reinforce positive behaviours and cultural inclusivity in a fun and engaging way.

The life-sized standees were strategically placed around the school as visual directories, guiding students and visitors while introducing them to the newly developed characters. By making the characters a physical part of the school environment, students could engage with the values on a daily basis, forming stronger associations over time.

To extend the impact beyond static displays, we also created matching character masks that were distributed for use in school events and classroom activities. These masks added an interactive dimension to the initiative, encouraging students to actively participate in role-playing scenarios, celebrations and storytelling activities.

This initiative successfully brought Edgefield Primary School’s values to life in a visually engaging and meaningful way. The characters have since become familiar faces throughout the school, strengthening school spirit, enhancing cultural inclusivity, and supporting a value-driven learning environment.
