DCS and NHB visit to Battlebox
At Fingertips 365, we are always thrilled to support educational and cultural initiatives that enrich our community’s understanding of Singapore’s heritage. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Defence Collective Singapore (DCS) and the National Heritage Board (NHB) at the historic Battlebox, where both groups explored unique ways to connect history, technology, and national values.
DCS’s visit was part of their National Education and learning journey, which includes esteemed institutions like the Army and Navy Museums. Their goal is to incorporate the Battlebox into this journey to deepen the appreciation for Singapore’s defence history among both SAF personnel and the younger generation. By making the Battlebox a vital part of this experience, DCS hopes to impart the true significance of defending Singapore’s sovereignty.
The NHB’s visit was driven by their mission to blend history with technology to appeal to younger audiences. In a time when attention spans are short, NHB is committed to finding ways to present Singapore’s heritage in fresh, engaging ways. Through their experience at the Battlebox, NHB explored how technology can be effectively used to create a more immersive experience, bridging the gap between the old and the new.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Battlebox team, particularly Teng Teng and Hadi, for their exceptional hosting efforts. Their dedication ensured an enriching experience for both groups, who thoroughly enjoyed their visit and conveyed their appreciation.
The insights and inspiration gained from this collaboration with DCS and NHB reaffirm our commitment to merging history and technology in ways that resonate with diverse audiences. We look forward to supporting future initiatives that honour Singapore’s past while looking toward a dynamic future.
